WEMTA17 Trivia Night for PET

Join us Monday, March 20, at 6:00 PM at the Kalahari for at #WEMTA17's Trivia Night sponsored by Follett School Solutions.


Go head-to-head with America's Pub Quiz trivia in this team-style competition. Enjoy music, food, beverages and the challenge of finding answers after a day of learning at the conference. Come with a team of 4-6 or join a team at the event.


Trivia Night tickets cost $10 per person. Please register in advance. Limited tickets may be available the day of the event.


Proceeds from this event will benefit WEMTA's Permanent Endowment Trust (PET). This trust funds the Lowell Wilson Scholarship and Outreach Grants that benefit WEMTA members and future developments in our field. PET is celebrating its 25th year of supporting WEMTA! Brush up on WEMTA history for some highlighted questions at this event.

2017 WEMTA Author Fair

Join us on March 19 for our conference author fair. On that Sunday, you'll have the opportunity to meet over twenty Wisconsin authors from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Authors appearing at this event include: Valerie Biel, Julie Bowe, Barbara M. Britton, Tricia Clasen, Liz Czukas, Erin Fallingant, Pat Hall, Anne Horjus, Kelly Jensen, Bridget Birdsall, Jane Kelley, E. M. Kokie, Eileen Lucas, Marla McKenna, Miranda Paul, KW Penndorf, Gayle Rosengren, Rebecca Williams Spindler, Angie Stanton, Amanda Zieba, and JoAnn Early Macken.

You'll have the opportunity to meet the authors, have books signed and attend special author presentations around different topics. These topics will be announced in the coming weeks.

Registration


Registration is now open for the 2017 WEMTA Conference from March 19-21. A conference discount is a benefit of WEMTA membership. Renew your membership for 2017 at the time of registration. Our Super Early Bird pricing for registration lasts until January 31st.


Special registration rates are available for college students and retirees who also volunteer for three hours at the conference.


Hotels


Special rates are available at these four hotels for the conference: Kalahari Resort, Holiday Inn Express, Wintergreen Resort, and Great Wolf Lodge. A limited number of rooms are available at special conference pricing. You'll need the group names and reservation codes available on our our hotel page. To take advantage of these specials, place your reservation before February 19 for the Kalahari, Holiday Inn Express and Great Wolf Lodge. The cut off date for the Wintergreen Resort is March 1st. Please keep in mind that the rooms may sell out before the reservation specials end.


Trivia Night: Celebrating 25 Years of PET


Join us for an evening of entertainment and refreshments at our conference team trivia night on Monday, March 20 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Trivia night tickets can be purchased with registration for $10 a person.  Proceeds from this event will benefit WEMTA's Permanent Endowment Trust. This trust funds the Lowell Wilson Scholarship and Outreach Grants that benefit WEMTA members developing the future of our field.
